Year award in tourism 2006
The awarding of annual awards for the contribution to quality, affirmation and promotion of tourist offer of Montenegro “Wild Beauty Award” was held in Saturday, on the 16th of December, in hotel “Splendid” in Becici. The awarding of this prestigious national recognition was held for second year in a row, under the patronage of the president of the Republic, Filip Vujanovic, in the organization of the tourist organization of Montenegro.
The Counsel for awarding of the awards made of the president of the Counsel, minister for economic development Branimir Gvozdenovic, deputy of the president, minister of tourism and protection of environment Predrag Nenezic, the director of National Tourist organization Vojin Vlahovic, president of the Montenegrin tourist association Branko – Diki Kazanegra, PhD Borislav Uskokovic, professor at the Economic Faculty, Dean of the Faculty of tourism, hotel management and trading Bar PhD Stevan Popovic, Dean of the Architectonic faculty PhD Goran Radovic, director of the PE “Sea welfare” Rajko Barovic. Director of the hotel “Queen of Montenegro” Dragan Barovic, director of the HTE Primorje Predrag Jelusic, journalist of IN Pobjeda Nikola Perkovic, and the journalist of ITV Montena Tanja Dabljevic proposed the nominations for the awards by categories.
Based on the proposed nominations, the jury made of the minister of tourism and protection of environment, Predrag Nenezic, PhD Borislav Uskokovic. Director of hotel Sveti Stefan, Pero Radjenovic, editor in IN “Vijesti”, Radmilo Tadic, and of the counselor for hotel management, Ferdinand Wieland, made a decision who is the best based on the Rule book about the awarding of annual award for quality and contribution to the development of tourism – Wild Beauty Award.
The festivity in “Splendid” was attended by numerous invitees from cultural and public life of Montenegro and the surrounding, representatives of the diplomatic chorus and international institutions which have their missions in Montenegro. After the solemn issuing of awards an after party was organized for the invitees.
